ADHD Counselling for Adults

If your mind feels busy or overloaded, you’re not alone.
Many people with ADHD, or other neurodivergent experiences, reach out because their thoughts race, emotions feel intense, or life feels harder to navigate than it seems for others.
At times, this can feel more noticeable during stress, ADHD burnout, or life and hormonal changes.
ADHD can affect relationships, work, and your sense of self. It can also lead to masking, self-doubt, or feeling misunderstood.
Counselling offers a space to explore these experiences without judgement, labels, or pressure to “try harder.”
Together, we move at your pace. You bring your experiences. I offer a calm, steady space where we can gently explore patterns, emotions, and what’s been feeling overwhelming, making room for clarity and self-acceptance.

Trauma Counselling

After a traumatic experience, whether recent or from the past, it’s common to feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of yourself. Sleep can be difficult, and ongoing tiredness can make everyday life feel harder to manage.
For those who are ADHD or neurodivergent, these experiences can sometimes feel more intense or harder to settle. You may feel on edge, emotionally drained, or unsure why things feel as they do.
Counselling offers a steady, supportive space to explore this at your pace.
Together, we can look at how trauma may be affecting you now and, when you feel ready, gently make sense of the past — without pressure to revisit anything before you’re ready.
There’s no need to have the right words or a clear plan.
We move slowly and carefully, helping you feel steadier and more supported as you begin to find your footing again.

Depression Counselling

Depression can make life feel heavy, isolating, or hard to understand. You may feel drained, numb, or disconnected from yourself.
For those who are ADHD or neurodivergent, this can sometimes feel more complex — a mix of overwhelm, exhaustion, or feeling stuck, without always knowing why.
Counselling offers a space where your experiences are heard and accepted without judgement. You are the expert on your own life, and we move at a pace that feels steady and supportive for you.
I listen carefully and may gently reflect what I hear, helping you notice your experiences with more clarity and kindness. Together, we can build on your existing strengths and ways of coping.
There’s no need to rush or follow a set path.
Reaching out for support can be a meaningful first step.

Anxiety Counselling

Anxiety can make life feel confusing, overwhelming, or hard to settle, as though you’ve been carrying too much on your own.
For those who are ADHD or neurodivergent, anxiety can sometimes feel more intense, a constant sense of being on edge, overthinking, or struggling to switch off.
Counselling offers a space where you don’t have to manage it all by yourself.
Together, we can pause, allow things to settle, and gently explore what’s been happening for you in a more grounded and manageable way.
We move at a pace that feels right for you, without pressure or expectation — creating space for greater calm, clarity, and understanding over time.
